Not that I am the Dr. of Love or anything like that… But then again, most probably like to believe they are. After all – Love is a many splendid thing. When my husband and I were planning our wedding he suggested we reveal to all in attendance words that would convey our LOVE for each other. My favorite Love Description is from 1 Corinthians 13: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.
It doesn’t matter your ‘religious persuasion’ to say “yea, that IS a great description of LOVE”. I am talking LOVE because February is the Love month, rightly celebrated with Valentine’s Day.

Sea Haven was incorporated in 1980. It provides emergency stabilization and long-term services. Gateway services are provided for runaway/homeless youth and youth at risk of running away, by offering temporary emergency shelter, food, clothing, individual/family counseling, case management, referrals for appropriate services, independent/permanent housing, permanency planning/aftercare. Sea Haven is a member of National Safe Place Network. NSPN provides training, consultation, funding, and advocacy for members. Their mission is to “Provide a Safe Place for Youth in Crisis with respect and dignity” They do this through 5 different programs they offer to help the children! We are moving forward with donating some of our time and efforts to help the local charity is doing wonders for the kids!

Some of these kids because of the pain they have been feeling all their life, they haven’t have the means to get a vacation for them and their families. They cannot afford to have a vacation because of all the outstanding medical expenses they face everyday. This organization relies on volunteers and donations.
